In this story, the guy who sat here was the leading IT support specialist in the company; he felt extremely uncomfortable and every few moments he was turning round to see who was coming in behind him. He spent half the day looking over his shoulder rather than concentrating on his job.

The effect

The IT jobs were not getting done on time, and everyone in the company eventually began to feel the effects. Stress levels went up, as did tempers and blood pressure; there was a knock on effect throughout the whole company; all for the sake of where one key person was sitting.
