Your Feng Shui Consultation for Building and Extending
Now that you are considering adding the Feng Shui perspective to the building of your dream home or extension, you will be looking for a competent Feng Shui practitioner with whom you feel comfortable, and who has the skill to show you how to get the very best out of your plans.
Your practitioner
Mike has been thoroughly trained by a genuine Feng Shui Master in the classical Imperial style of Feng Shui, and is registered with two leading professional bodies (see more); so you can be totally confident that you will be in good hands. His easy going manner and years of experience in client support means that he will make you feel completely comfortable during the consultation process.
Your consultation
There are many variations on how projects of this nature can develop, so in the first place Mike will talk with you to find the general scope of what you planning to achieve, and will then put together a consulting proposal made up from the following general components:
First Evaluation:
- Mike provides you with a Feng Shui evaluation of what already exists; if it’s an extension then this will be your existing home, or if it’s a new building Mike will make an evaluation of the site.
- You’ll be given any general recommendations that can help you to immediately improve the site.
- After that Mike looks at your planned building work and its Feng Shui implications.
- You’ll receive a verbal report of findings along with Mike’s Feng Shui based recommendations.
- Your written report will follow so that you’ll have sketches for your reference, and to discuss with your architect or builder.
Review
- When your plans are reworked, Mike will re-evaluate the implications of any changes and report back to you.
- In smaller projects one or perhaps two reviews might be necessary; in larger projects the review process can go through many iterations before everyone is happy.
Auspicious Date Selection
- Dates with particularly good Feng Shui characteristics are calculated to start and end the project, bringing you the added power of the timing aspect of Feng Shui.
Feng Shui Alignment
- Mike works with your surveyors or builders to set precise Feng Shui based alignment of a new building, giving you the full potential of the process.
- Precise alignment of key external doors can also be included.
Final Optimisation
- When the builders have left, Mike revisits your completed project to work with your final touches.
- If you have interior designers working with you, Mike can combine the Feng Shui perspective with their work; creating the best possible final outcome.
Consulting Fees
Each project is unique and fees can only be determined on a individual basis. As a guideline, see Feng Shui consulting fees.
